THIS ABOUT MAKING
DREAMS COME TRUE?
This is a question we’re often asked when people realise
that our mantra is YOU’VE GOT TO HAVE A DREAM. For a
start, they’re not too sure about mantras, anyway. What’s
more, they don’t see what dreaming has to do with writing
– unless it’s a means of creating plots in your
sleep. Didn’t R.L. Stevenson do that?
If you aspire to be a successful writer, you obviously have
a dream. You want your work to be published. Our aim is to
help our members realise their dreams – and over the
years we’ve been inundated with letters thanking us
for just that.
How do we do it? We major on
the positive approach –
and if you dismiss that as ‘pop psychology’, we
must agree to differ. We know from experience that it works
and we’ve spent almost two decades passing on this conviction
to members of FLAIR FOR WORDS.
Don’t get the idea that we’re starry-eyed and
naïve. Far from it. We’re totally down-to-earth
