Janie and Cass Jackson
Janie
cut her professional writing teeth in Fleet Street as a member
of the National Union of Journalists. After a stint as a PR
woman for a national utility, she turned to freelance writing,
and is published in a number of magazines and newspapers.
She has written five books for children and (under her pen
name, Lisa Charles) three
romantic novels, plus collaborating with Cass on other books.
She is a tutor for The Writers
Bureau.
Cass came to writing via teaching.
He is a Reiki Master, healer, astrologer and herbalist, and
has published several books on writing and the positive approach.
He is an editor and a short story writer, whose experience
includes broadcasting and publicity work.
The two
of us
We’re both members of the Society of Authors and the
Society of Women Writers and Journalists. Widely experienced
in most aspects of the writing life, we’re critics,
competition adjudicators, tutors, lecturers, and workshop
facilitators. Our current interests are in the Mind/Body/Spirit
genre and personal development, but we’ll write about
almost anything on request. We write regular monthly columns
for Writers’ Forum
and other publications
